I have 3 works in the exhibition
first: My personal interpretation of the self portrait of Vincent Van Gogh that he made in 1889/90. I used smalti in 'his' beautiful blue colors that make me happy every time I see them.
second: Part two from my triptich for the 2020 Symposium in Sardinia, in which I imitate the real stars of my constellation 'CANCER' in the midst of an imaginary universe.
third: The work: AD QUADRATUM, which I made and was nominated, for the contest, Roman Classical art,
Eccho Prize competition in Rome 2021. I combined ancient Roman mosaic technique in a contemporary way with different andemento, the visual flow and direction within a mosaic produced by the placement of rows of tesserae.
